1. Pokemon Scarlet - Teal Mask DLC (Nintendo Switch)
So fun fact, I've never gotten around to playing the Pokemon Scarvio DLC so I'm doing that now. I put together a new team from the Kitakami Pokedex, so I was surprised by how difficult the main story quests were with my own stipulations. It was a good time!
2. Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury | Season 1 (Anime Series)

Finally got around to watching G-Witch after getting recommended it on the basis on that it's Space Utena and yep, it sure is. I could go on with the comparisons to Utena, from how G-Witch focuses less on deconstructing fairytale gender roles in order to focus more on Sci-Fi militarism and imperialism, to how Suletta and Miorine are almost like reverse mirrors of Utena and Anthy. But yeah, I really like this so far!
3. Cassette Beasts (Monster Collector RPG | Nintendo Switch)
A game I started playing last year as part as my mission to start playing more Monster Collectors aside from Pokemon. I've been known in the past to talk about how it's a missed opportunity that Pokemon doesnt build more mainline campaigns around the doubles format but this game really delivers with scratching that doubles strategy itch I've had. The pixel art and music are utterly fantastic and the world is designed in a way to reward in depth exploration and secret hunters. My one caveat is that this game has some surprising performance issues for an indie game, at least when I play on handheld mode, but I'm sure that that issue can be resolved by played docked or on PC. Still, a really great time. Highly recommend.

3. Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX (Replay | Nintendo Switch)
Beat the main story of RTDX again several days ago. May or may not be related to a site project I'm working on...
4. Bravely Default II (Post-Game Bosses | Nintendo Switch)
This only counts for the diary cause I said so. Anyways Bravely Default II turned 4 years old this week and now that it's been like 2 years since I first beat it, I have come to terms that it is actually one of my favorite Switch games even though it's one of the least popular Team Asano titles. I don't know! I just think it's neat! I like the FF5 style job class system but each Job has their own unique set of action commands. I like that the JRPG Party is a bit older then what we usually see in the genre so there's more focus on them all just hanging out and solving problems. I still haven't beat Octopath II or played the previous Bravely games so I don't how the story holds up in comparison but in a vaccumm, I just think this game is seriously overhated. It's genuinely good, I'm pretty certain.
5. Dragon Ball Daima (Anime Web Series)
I'm still trying to gather my thoughts really on this project, but I hope at least that the production aspects of this series will bleed over into an eventual Dragon Ball Super revival, as I have high hopes for the adaptation of the Moro and Granolah Arcs. (Dragon Ball has silly character names haha)

6. The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Rings (Original Film 2001)
7. Hadestown (Musical Theatre Show | Off-Broadway Production)
8. Fire Emblem: The Morrow's Golden Country (FE8 Romhack)

As someone who got very burnt out on Fire Emblem after Three Hopes, this rom hack is a complete banger. The story makes use of tradtional Fire Emblem aesthetics without falling into to many of the tired tropes from the mainline series, plus it has great gameplay! The unit identity and skill system in particular are top notch, and go a long way to making me interested in watching other playthroughs. Also one of my bsky mutuals, hiraya (@cordatumcape), is currently working on CG illustrations for the game, so you should definitely check it out if you like his art.
9. The Lord of the Rings: The Twin Towers (Original Film 2002)
10. Soul of Sovereign Chapter 1 Demo (Visual Novel, itch.io)
11. The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie (Animated Film)
