Welcome to Graymin Gardens!

Hello there, my name is Graymin (They/She) but you may also know me as ShayminSylph and Sylph of Eons! Aside from being the webmaster of the Gardens and its original incarnation, I'm most well known as a fanartist of Kirby, Undertale/Deltarune, Pokemon, and Kingdom Hearts.

This website is where I go to showcase my creative projects and talk about my media interests in a more personalized space. I also try to make the site a fun and relaxing place for indie web explorers, fans of my works, and newcomers alike!

Here on the homepage you'll find updates about the site, my personal projects, real world news, as well as where else I can be found on the internet (Ex: social media). For now though, I hope you will enjoy your visit!

1/25/2026 - Graymin Gardens Grand Opening!

Hello everybody and welcome to Graymin Gardens, AKA, the new and revamped version of Graymin Glyphs!

...Sorta.

There's still A LOT that needs to be worked on, namely the Media and Articles pages of the site have still not been implemented, but they will return eventually, though it is likely that the progress of actually "completing" the revamp proper will still take several months. Admittedly, my choice to make the site public in its current form was a bit of an impulsive decision, but I hope that you all will be patient with me as I continue working on things in the background.

For those who miss the old articles and pages, the old site is still visible on the Internet Archive. I hope that this compromise will be acceptable for the time being.

But yeah, to summarize, all the old stuff will be back eventually and is absolutely a high priority for me.

11/10/2025 - Graymin Glyphs Second Year Anniversary!

Welcome everyone to the 2nd year anniversary of the Graymin Glyphs and soon entering the third year of the site! Not much has changed since my last updates where I announced the Site Revamp project, though I will admit that progress has been a bit slower than originally planned, and thus I can no longer say with full confidence that the revamp will be finished by the end of the year.

However, in my mind, this is not bad news since I've still been working on stuff like my Undertale/Deltarune fanproject, started keeping a physical journal, and have been working on IRL responsibilities. Because of this, I won't say that I've been unproductive but more so that I've just been inspired to work on other stuff, which will eventually find a great home on the site once the revamp actually becomes my main priority.

Now that that's out of the way, in the spirit of Anniversary Celebrations, I will talk a bit more about my plans for the revamp and some general thoughts I have as a webmaster and creative.

While progress on my site has been slow, I am still very inspired by other indie websites to try finding new things to include on the site, it's just that restructuring the site first will be necessary for me to do all I want to accomplish. But I want to make more pages dedicated to my projects like FantasyFount and a proper network of "subsites" that will allow to use this site as the most comprehensive resource and host for those projects.

Making the site more stylish, accessible on mobile, and generally more reactive to visitors is another huge goal of mine. I want the site to have more secrets and things to play with, cause while I know that my resources collection, writings, and art are of course huge draws for the site; I also want there to be unique features on the site that you wholly can't find on social media and keep people coming back to explore the site, not just read it.

A part of why I feel this way is because of how many people I've met online this year who are interested in my projects, whether it be through Discord voice chats or new forums. I just like hearing people's reactions to small details and references in my projects, which is why I want my site to become more esoteric without becoming inaccessible or overly cluttered.

I'm also not saying this all to build up hype for the revamp, because once the revamp is officially "launched", it will probably take some time for all those extra fun things to be implemented. But I do want to express that I'm still just as excited to work on the website as ever. At this point, it's just getting through the more tedious tasks to get to what will be a better foundation for things to come.

With that out of way, once again I thank all you for your support to the site! It truly has been a project that got bigger than I could have ever imagined and I'm so happy for it. I hope you all have wonderful days and I look forward to updating you all soon! Buh-bye!

10/4/2025 - Site Revamp Progress Check-In

Hey everybody! Just wanted to post a quick update about how the revamp is going. Things went a little slower then I thought after I hit some bugs with JavaScript but those have all been resolved currently. These bugs were related to a script I made for the new sidebar navigation menu, but now that they've been resolved, I can fully transition away from testing the layout and move on to actually creating the new pages for the revamp, which is great news! I still don't have much else to share, but I'll leave a new update next time I think that some significant progress has been made.

But until then, I hope you have a good October!

09/9/2025 - Remember September?

It's been another couple of weeks without a proper update and we're getting to the time of year where I start zeroing in on a couple goals or projects I want to have finished by the year's end. Let's get into those!

Plans for the Rest of 2025

First order of business, I'm still having a lot of fun with my Undertale Dark Worlds AU project, FantasyFount (which can find on the Creative portal page) and the ask blog event has officially gone into full swing with a good couple of drawn responses and a healthy backlog of questions. Again, thanks to everyone who has supported this more self-indulgent project. It's really helped reignite my creative juices as well as introduced with a lot of other great Undertale AU enthusiasts. (such as ReddBones&Inks! Check out his website!)

Second (and probably most important for the site), I am planning on revamping the website by the end of the year. There's a lot of questions about what this may look like and what this entails but for now I can give a bullet list of some key features this revamp will provide.

  • Website rebranded from "Graymin's Glyphs" to "Graymin Gardens".
  • New logo, button, banner, and misc site branded graphics.
  • Internal site restructuring where each site category (Ex: Info, Creative, Media Logs, Articles, etc) has their own decided folder for HTML files and CSS. This will greatly improve site organization on my end.
  • More off-site hosting for images, most likely either using postimages.org or github.
  • Should I secure a job by the end of the year, upgrading to Supporter subscription on Neocities.
  • New style themes and other JavaScript projects
  • Generally improved site organization and page consolidation where appropriate.
  • Seperate pages for sitemap, site credits, more resources, changelog, graphics collections, etc!!!

There's still a lot of stuff that needs to be tested for this, but I've already more or less finished styling the new layout that I'll be using for the revamp, so I feel pretty confident in saying that this project is doable and will improve the quality of the site and streamline a lot of technical stuff for me. This year I've definitely felt that Graymin's Glyphs has been going through the motions as a long term creative project, but I'm very excited about this revamp and think that it will greatly improve my capacity to create new projects for the site going forward.

Finally, let's move on to some smaller stuff that will also be put in bullet points for the sake of brevity and readability.

  • There's new buttons on the sidebar for some forums I've joined (The Deltarune Unofficial Message Boards and Gryll's Monochrome Mansion). Please check them out as I think forum sites are very important fandom projects and great places to meet other webmasters that work on fansite projects!
  • The Network page has been updated and reorganizaed!
  • I'll be creating a new splash image for the second anniversary of Graymin's Glyphs using isometric drawing again! My goal is to up the scale a lot and include a lot more references and fun details.
  • My grandparents moved into their new house months ago, but just so this doesn't go unnoticed, thank you everyone who supported me and the site since Hurricane Helene last year. I experienced a lot of family changes as a result from the flood last year but all the nice comments I've gotten about the site and my other projects has helped me stay optimistic, and I truly, deeply, appreciate that.
  • I have a job interview this week! As mentioned before, if I get it, I will probably finally become an official Neocities supporter, but depending on how work intensive it is, some other site projects may need to be delayed again. Still, me getting a job is a great thing in the long term, just anticipate that it may cause some short term interruptions.

So quick recap for the Read More: a site revamp is in the works and will greatly improve my ability to expand on the site in the future once its implemented. I hope everybody enjoys the rest of the month and with any luck, you'll hear from me again in a couple of weeks about how projects for the site are coming along. Goodbye for now and see you soon!

08/14/2025 - Undertale FantasyFount

Hey everybody! Sorry for the radio silence lately. I've been preoccupied with finishing the last semester of my Master's Degree, which has gone well!

But also Deltarune Summer is turning into Undertale Autumn and I've been working a lot on my old Undertale Dark Worlds AU concept with the help of a lot of wonderful members from the Obscure and Unknown Toby Trivia Discord Server. So much so that I've rebranded my tumblr sideblog for hosting everything I've made for the project so far, so I highly recommend you go to @graymin-gardens on Tumblr to check out my FantasyFount stuff. I'm planning on opening up an "askblog" event there soon in anticipation of Undertale's 10th anniversary.

But until then, I hope you have a good rest of the summer! Stay cool and hydrated!

06/26/2025 - Artfight 2025!

Hey everyone! Just letting you all know I will being doing ArtFight again this year representing Team Crystal!

ArtFight 2025 Team Crystal Card

If you've ever wanted to draw fanart of my original characters, fan characters, or FFXIV Warrior of Light, you can send me and ArtFight attack and I'll try to draw one of your characters in return! Follow my profile at @sylph-of-eons for more information. Anyways, hope everyone is having a good start to the summer! Stay hydrated!

06/03/2025 - Into the Depths Once More

Hello everyone! Several interesting things have been happening recently that I wanted to share with you, as I suspect this may a moment of respite before a storm of activity on my end.

First, as of writing this I just had a job interview about becoming a graphic designer for a local theatre which I'm very excited about. I'm also about to start classes again shortly with plans to obtain my Master's Degree in August, so hopefully both will go well. (and if I'm able to achieve stable employement, i may consider becoming an official neocities supporter which open up a lot of possibilities for me on what I want to do with the site!) Second, Deltarune tomorrow!!! Which I'm excited about for obvious reasons BUT this will likely result in me revamping the Video Game Mysteries and Lore page to reflect any developments from Ch3+4. Since I plan on going radio silent on social media when the game comes out anyways, maybe I'll use that page to report my own findings and observations for the next few weeks? Also, lastly, July is ArtFight month which I'm hoping to very active in (at least more than I was last year), so definitely check out my profile @sylph-of-eons since I love doing revenges and "art trades" during the event.

Oh also, you may have noticed that some of the older update logs are gone and that's because I've currently moved them to a pastebin! I'll probably get working on adding that archive link to the info page soon. Anyways, thanks for stopping by as usual! Hope you all have a good start to your summer!

05/02/2025 - A Month Off from School

Good news! I finished out my spring semester on a strong note so I have a month between now and when I start my summer semester. Times being what the are, I'm still probably going to be too busy to work on any big website projects, but I would love to work on some art commissions (mostly just because I suspect i will need some extra money in the next few months...). So if you would like to help support me and the site, please reach out to me about art commissions. Thanks for stopping by!

03/22/2025 - Spring Cleaning

Hello again! There still hasn't many big changes on the site since I've been busy with school and family responsibilities. However, I do have updates on new links to other sites where I've been uproading higher resolution drawings and timelapse videos. I've started using SheezyArt as a site where I'm uploading higher resolution exports of my drawings. As always, I'll still keep up the art gallery on Graymin's Glyphs, but SheezyArt is probably going to be my main art site for the time being since I'm still restricted by NeoCities file storage. Additionally, I've been creating Art Timelapse videos and uploaded them to my Youtube Channel. Try to check them out when you get the chance!

02/27/2025 - Pre-Pokemon Direct/End of February

Sorry for the lack of updates recently! I've been busy with school again but since it's Pokemon Day, I thought that I should bring everyone's attention to a new page on the site: my Tips and Tricks guide for playing the Post-Game of Rescue Team DX! Not sure if we're getting any pmd news today, so I thought it would be pertinent to celebrate the most recent game in the series again. Anyways, hope you all have a good one!

01/05/2025 - New Year, New Webpages!

Hey everyone! This is just a quick update to direct attention to the new CSP Filters and 2025 Media Diary pages! I'm still debating some quality-of-life/archiving projects for the site, but I'll let you know more about that once I have a plan in mind. Anyways, hope you enjoy yourselves until then!

12/26/2024 - End of December Gallery Update

Hello everyone! I've been busy with Holiday stuff but I have another update to the Art Gallery page in time for the end of the year. Speaking of art and galleries, I've been messing around with SheezyArt, which seems to be a promising DeviantArt successor. Maybe once this site is out of Beta, I can properly upload my art backlog to it. Anyways, that's about all for now. Hope you have a good one!

12/02/2024 - Tinkering With Toys

Hello, everyone! Just a quick update this time to draw some attention to new art that's been added to the Art Gallery page and my ongoing work on the Kirby Fan Characters Hub page! I have a lot of new page ideas I want to add to the site once I wrap up my school semester in this next few weeks, and hopefully doing some more general maintenence on the site.

Also an additional reminder that i'm posting new doodles and sketches regularly on my Bluesky with the unique Hashtag GrayminArt, so definitely check that out since there's a lot of smaller doodles over there that don't always make it to the art gallery here. (Should I ever get a Neocities subscription or self host this site, that will change.) As always, I also make regular updates to the Media Diary, Recommendations, and Resources pages if you want to check in on what I've been watching and reading.

Anyways, hope to stop by soon with something exciting to herald the end of the year. Have a good one!

11/11/2024 - Graymin's Glyphs 1 Year Anniversary

Well, It’s been a year since I first formally began working on Graymin’s Glyphs, and I’m struggling to properly convey the love and pride I have in this silly little project of mine. I never imagined that I would be able to create my own website like this when I was first clicking around pokemon fan sites in the early 2010’s, so the fact I’ve been able to come this far to put something out like this is truly mind blowing. Of course, there’s still a lot of work to be done.

Javascript in particular has been befuddling me for at least the past 6 months, but I’m still truly grateful for all the visitors, followers, and commenters who stopped to look at what I put together, if even for a moment. Also, thanks to the larger neocities network I’m a part of for giving me the inspiration and tutorials I used to put this site together in the first place. It’s been a long time since I found an internet community that was this collaborative and open-minded.

As you may have noticed from the gap since my last formal news update and what has happened in the real world since, this year has not been particularly easy for me, but this project has helped give me a lot of hope and motivation to keep working and finding like minded creators to appreciate. Thank you so much for reading. I can’t wait to share more cool things on Graymin’s Glyphs in the near future. Take care of yourselves and I hope you have a good day.

Sketch of the Day

The Three Kind Elfilins, Elfilin's Three Secret Cousins who are different colors.
"The Three Kind Elfilins"

There's a running joke with me and my Discord pals where we've become obsessed with a hyper niche reddit post about the Three Kind Elles, the three secret cousins of Noelle Holiday from Deltarune who are all just recolors of her and are themed after various Kind personality traits.

Once it was revealed that Elfilin also had a secret cousin, I came up with the idea of the Three Kind Elfilins which is how we ended up here.

"The stars align, outlining a path for the future..."
"The winds blow, propelling you forward to a crossroads."
